Elders with Harps and Bowls fall down
Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
If John is one of the elders, how can he be present in this scene? These two verses tell us that John should be one of the elders. Did he not recognize himself? God is able to have a person in two places at the same time, but this would be the first time in the scriptures.
Is it John the apostle the autor of the book of Revelations? John did not recognize Jesus earlier in this book in Revelations 1:9-18 even if he spent three years with him and also saw in in the tranfiguration. To be fair Jesus is able to hide his appearance.
Mark 16:12 Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country.
